Step 1: Choose Your Course Candidates can apply for: B.Sc. Nursing GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (if offered) M.Sc. Nursing (subject to availability) Step 2: Check Eligibility B.Sc. Nursing Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the regulatory authorities. Candidate should be 17 years of age or above on or before 31 December of the admission year. Candidate must be medically fit. GNM Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with the required minimum marks. English is compulsory; Science background is generally preferred. Candidate should satisfy the age and medical fitness requirements. Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form Applicants should: Obtain the application form online or from the admission office (as available). Complete the form with accurate personal and academic details. Submit the application before the prescribed deadline. Step 4: Entrance Test / Merit Selection Depending on the programme and the prevailing admission policy: Admission may be based on qualifying examination marks. If applicable, candidates may also need to appear for the SSUHS/Common Entrance Examination (CEE) or any other prescribed entrance process. Step 5: Document Verification Selected candidates must produce original documents, including: Class 10 Mark Sheet & Certificate Class 12 Mark Sheet & Certificate Transfer Certificate (TC) Migration Certificate (if applicable) Character/Conduct Certificate Aadhaar Card or other valid ID Passport-size photographs Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable) Medical Fitness Certificate Step 6: Fee Payment After successful document verification, candidates must: Pay the prescribed tuition and admission fees. Complete all admission formalities within the specified time to confirm their seat. Step 7: Hostel Admission (Optional) Students requiring hostel accommodation may apply separately. Hostel allotment is subject to availability and institute regulations. Step 8: Orientation & Commencement of Classes After admission confirmation, students participate in the orientation programme and commence classes as per the academic calendar.
