Admission Process
Adichunchanagiri College of Nursing (ACN), a constituent college of Adichunchanagiri University, offers admissions to GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, and Ph.D. Nursing programs. Admissions are conducted according to the norms of the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Adichunchanagiri University.
Step 1: Choose Your Course
Select the nursing program you wish to pursue:
GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)
B.Sc. Nursing
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
M.Sc. Nursing

Step 2: Check Eligibility
B.Sc. Nursing
Candidates must:
Pass 10+2 (PUC or equivalent).
Have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE).
Obtain at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for eligible reserved categories).
Be 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the admission year.
Produce a valid medical fitness certificate.
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
Pass GNM from a recognized institution.
Hold valid State Nursing Council registration.
Meet the university's eligibility requirements.
M.Sc. Nursing
Hold a B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree.
Secure at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for eligible reserved categories).
Have the required clinical experience as per INC norms.
Step 3: Submit the Application
Complete the online or offline application form.
Submit all required academic and personal documents.
Ensure the application is complete before the deadline.
Step 4: Document Verification
The college verifies original documents, academic qualifications, identity proof, and eligibility before processing admission.
Step 5: Merit List / Counselling
Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on merit.
Admission is finalized through the university's counselling and seat allotment process, where applicable.
Step 6: Fee Payment & Seat Confirmation
Pay the prescribed tuition and other applicable fees.
